Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) Durg, established in 1986, is a premier private engineering institution in Chhattisgarh, India. It holds the distinction of being the first self-financed engineering college in Central India and is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has been granted autonomous status since 2020.
