Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR will act as the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators, problem-solvers, and team players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally
- Process orders, returns, refunds, or exchanges as needed
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
- Meet or exceed performance goals for response time, resolution, and satisfaction
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, procedures, and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or help desk role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce)
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Experience working in [industry-specific environment, e.g., retail, finance, healthcare]
